Just compare how common a similar age 325i Sport E30 is, yet they do command good money. The same with Audi 200 quattros and V8s. Very rare, but worth nothing. Ur quattros are at the other end of the scale. A lot of money for what is 9 times out of 10, just a shagged out tired old car. I am surprised at just how many tatty RRs there are about now, but they are 20 years old, I suppose. Makes minters like JJs two MB beautys very hard to put a value on.
I thought the same,. been discussed before but a mint one tends to go for circa £1500 +/- . Even more oddly, an old pal of mine was up at the weekend in his.. E30 325i (not a sport but has been converted as such) who will be my opposite number for trackdays next year. He paid £780 for his original, low miles and bagged a good one for very little. A good car should be worth more, but more often isn't.
