It also does not last that long when out in everyday elements, it does make plastic look nice initially unless the bumpers are faded, then you get a nice shiney grey bumper instead of a nice shiney black bumper.

We found it streaked in the wet weather too, if you applied it to door mirrors it leaves a nice oily streak on the doors after a few days.

Its not really a back to black product, more of a black enhancement product. If you are trying to get something black look shiney then this is good, as you say under the bonnet it works well enough.
