wrong master cylinder?
We have gone to change the master cylinder today on my 1988 WR, The original was from the ATE system (girling g60 calipers if thats any use). The replacement product i bought was a Hitec H417150, they look just alike on the outside but after removing the old one, the collar on the new one was a larger diametre and there was a plastic cup still left where to fit the master cylinder, which didnt allow the new one to fit.
Is this some kind of modification to the origonal product and there is a way to fit it or is it just the wrong part??
