For £70k it is cheap...in that any car that is essentially a craftsman made kit car is cheap and you are willing to live with all those little quirks, like dubious electrics, that makes owning the likes of a TVR entertaining. But it does seem to be a sad end for an S3 and surely, a hot rod should be all about making a silk purse out of a sow's ear, rather than turning a classic into something it isn't. Or at least making a fast but unreliable, dangerous, ill finished, poorly painted sow's ear out of a sow's ear :-) ?
