Dave, if yours is like mine the WOT switch is needed to pull the codes, which rules that out.
However, have you checked that the enrichment valve which sits in the vacuum/pressure pipe to the warm up regulator is working (located next to the coil)

Bart Simpson has a similar problem / Thread, I think we all need to help each other with this one mine is really starting to piss me off

RE the IAT sensor, how do you run 2 ecu's from it or have you fitted a seperate one?
