That's what I thought you meant. That was a works car but not sure wether or not it was supported by Audi Sport UK, it could well of been as Sootys team would get a driver 'on secondment' from Audi AG. He had quite a big smash on one of the road stages too when he hit a member of the public in another car.
The UK car, 200HNM, only competed in four rallies that year with Llewellin behind the wheel and Shortie sitting next to him. To be fair they didn't do to well ( not through lack of trying) and all but demolished the car on the 88 Fram Welsh Rally. I think that was pretty much what made Audi's mind up to concentrate on the Circuit instead of Rallying. Which was a shame.
