Thats correct they for a non-qauttro coupe.
If its was for a Quattro then the rear shocks would have been inserts like the front (inside an audi strut, so you would have had another set of uprights similar to the front set (on the left of the picture). The set of shocks on left are definately for a type 85 trailing arm setup i.e. a GT or 2wd Coupe. Also wonder what the PCD of the front struts are if they are 100, then they will only fit earlier GT's
