Got the stuff today - a light blue and a mid blue (in containers the size of a 35mm film). Mixed the powder into a gallon of warm water as instructed, added PH adjuster and colour fast stuff and off I went. Dipped the two side bits of carpet into the bucket and they came out blue (almost white before) - but the water ran off clear! Applied the dye to the rear capet - which was worse than the front and now it's blue again. Photo of before is below - after to follow...
