Well your old head had a thread insert in one on the spark plug holes, which decided to come out with the plug when I changed them
. So it had probably suffered from this this as well...
(As well as having a ticky lifter or two, sloppy cam chain and being black-as-yer-hat inside
)
The replacement head was all good though
The coil packs cost a bit, but should last 100k miles/10 years, which isn't bad really.
