Yes, you're right, it needs Audi sump. But I still don't get the idea why 2E's block with DZ head and not whole 2E
Some racers use old heads because there isn't hydraulic tappets, but mostly it's with 1.6 and 1.8 blocks.
P.S. Don't know about B2, on B3 2.0 engines have 228 mm clutch, other engines have 210mm clutch... For durability, of course.
