So I chased the leak further up, under the front carpet to the corner of the footwell.

Anyone have a "goop" recommendation for resealing this area after cleang it up and fixing the steel with a torch and a patch. There was some kind of factory sealant on this area, seen best from the wheel well. The 3rd picture, which I put something colorful inside the car so it would show.
