Not been on here for a while and I'm sorry to say the reason for this visit is to advertise the sale of my old Audi.
It's a 1989 (G plate) 2.2 Coupe in silver, 2 WD, 5 speed manual. It's showing 165,658K and is currently without tax and MOT.
The reason for sale is purely lack of use. I have an MOT with 165,561 miles listed from september 2007 so you see what I mean.
The car is in pretty good condition for 20 years old. Bad points being rust coming through on the drivers side rear wheel arch and in spots above the screen. Not enough to make holes but you can see it. The interior could do with a good clean and the head lining is sagging.
OK, so now for the good points,
* New front tyres and legal rears on the new style 10 spoke alloys.
* Recent fuel filter and fuel pump relay
* Top shock bearing changed along with all front bushes swapped for polyurethane bushes
* Recent 4 x shocks
* New rear brake compensator fitted for last MOT
* New brake discs. Also rear calipers always stripped and greased to stop the seizing up
* Electric windows, mirrors and central locking all working
In general I bought the car to see me through a year while I rebult my main vehicle, I got quite attached so always made sure she was in good running condition. The only time she let me down was when a fuel pump relay gave up. This is a good honest car with all MOTs to back up the mileage, a load of receipts from the previous (mechanic) owner plus a few spares.
As you can see doesn't look too bad in the photo's.
Looking for 250 quid as it is.
I'll try to dig out the rest of the paperwork and have more photo's if required.
PM me if anyone is interested.
Regards,
JB
