Get access to the speaker from below and see what's up.
Could easily be dislodged connectors.
Check cables for continuity too.
I have a Montreaux RDR49, with RDS. Nice. (Also is orange. Great.)
I use a bluetooth cassette adaptor and play anything I want from my phone.
