The connections look fine ie it's firmly attached to the harness and it *looks* fine internally. Phil's instructions for checking the resistance are a bit hazy –*I don't want to break it off just to check that the resistance is in range, and presume you can't measure it in situ?
Pete Reeve says the senders haven't been avaiable for years so unless there's some other fault in the wiring I could be of the road for want of a little sender.
