Isnt that strange? 125/70 is a lot smaller than the 215/50 tyres and even more smallerer than a 205/60!
It would give the differential something to do...and I would not want to lock them up using that spare!
Incidentally the 125/90 is also a damn good match for the 205/55 tyres I have on.
Maybe 125/85 tyres were not available in the time when the tyre size changed.
Regardless, I have just bought a 125/85 tyre to use. It comes on a GM wheel which I think has a different pcd. I will post when I’ve tried fitting it on the car-and also in the boot of the car!
