B&Q did have something- A Really Useful box, 1.2m long, takes the subframe/crossmember, and will probably be sufficiently tall enough to keep the item fully submerged. Good shout.
Now if I can just encourage my older battery charger to put out sufficient current.
I’ve used citric acid on a lot of stuff these last few weeks, but only got the long box a few days ago. I’ve ordered some graphite rods, too.
