It has electronic fuel injection with only 6 injectors. It's a 12v V6 (https://www.12v.org/engine/index.php?section=fe)

I'll have another look at the fueling system tomorrow. I also suspect a loose or worn wire somewhere that might also cause this problem, but so far could not find anything.
