Its a fad driven by co2 eco bullshit.

The costs, range, charge time of any replacement vehicle have to be similar to present day stuff or itll not catch on.

I recall not so long back a police force went eco nonsense and bought some nissan leafs for their patrol cars, only thing was when the weather turned icy the buggers wouldnt charge and couldnt be used.Well doh!

The elcetricity is going to come from where id like to know?
Given that windymills dont give reliable outputs at anything like that of coal or gas or nuclear, and solar dont work at night... and when youre charging from coal or gas youre still outputting what? C02 ? oh dear..... morons in charge of the asylum again.
