Maybe the answer lies somewhere between your replies boys, The Audi 100 Turbo has an intercooler just not up to the same Spec as a UR Intercooler. As for finding one to put on I suppose it doesn’t really matter which one I ram in there as long as its big enough and efficient enough to lower the intake temperature which should = more hp……….I think I’ll send 034motorsport and email on this to see what they recommend!

How would I go about increasing the boost though? I suppose I could just look out for a S2 / URS4 K24 turbo on ebay, or at the breakers and bolt that on, if it would fit?

There’s all sorts of talk on that 034motorsport website about this EFI engine management system which is available for about £800. They all seem to be slagging off the “original CIS system”, is this the Bosch K or KE Jectronic fueling system? I always thought that the K Jectronic was meant to be quite a good system, relatively simple and even used by Porsche in the old 911!

There was a couple of MC engines that had been tuned in the customers cars section and I printed out the two that stood out the most, one which had been heavily modified to quite an expense and the other who hadn’t really changed very much. Here’s the lists;

Heavily Modified MC Engine;
10v T Exhaust Manifold £697.27
3 Inch Down-pipe £329.36
EFI Stage IIc £1,226.35
EFI Plug in Harness £416.96
GT3071R Turbo £963.56
EFI DIS High Output Coils £240.01
EFI Fuel Rail £80.59
Bosch 42 Injectors £218.99
UR Q Intercooler Hose Kit £192.71
Vortex Catch Can £54.66

TOTAL £4,420.46

Least Modified MC Engine;
EFI Stage Iib £805.89
K26 / T04E Hybrid Turbo £487.04
EFI Radiator £501.05

TOTAL £1,793.97

I’ve just remembered that there was a thread on edition38.com about a guy who tuned up an Audi 200 10v T, maybe there’s some pointers on there, I think I’ll get my note-pad and pen out at dinner time and read it through. Here’s the link if anyone’s interested - http://www.edition38.com/forums/inde...03&hl=Audi+200

I’ve just became a member on the quattroforum yesterday so I’ll maybe PM him, see if he wants to enlighten me. Whatever way I do go I will be sure to post which components were upgraded and the results from that.

Cheers!
