I think in a post on one of the forums (may have been Pete Night) said that the dashes are sensitive to voltage, you don't want to jump start a digital dash quattro from another car and never turn the car over if the battery is reading low on the voltage gauge and remove the battery when welding, good luck hope you get is fixed, please post what the fault was or maybe santa will pop one below the christmas tree, if all else fails there is one on Ebay for £850, sorry I'm just so cheery at this time of year.
