Correct! However the casting number is: 035 103 373 F and is otherwise as far as i can see, bar a few differences such as no injector ports, a water feed to the manifold in place of the air shroud port, twin oil squirters, different water jacket on the left side, and no oil drillings for hydros- the same.
Id expect the cap numbers to come out the same also.
In respect of the line boring ops to produce the bearing surfaces;
Surely the component tolerance ( cams journals) would all be tightly controlled, thus needing only the one size boring for the bearing saddles?
I cant see why there would be more than one size as tooling up for half a dozen different possibles dosent make much sense to me.
Itd be easier to simply ensure the cams had the correct journal sizes to match the head bearings.
Could turn out im wrong tho, but from checking the cam cap off the turbo engine ( a KV head) looks like it should work.
Ill know a little more later today once ive done some checks.
