Wow! where to start, so many replies, thanks guys!
Seems that the page 1 brigade are against the idea of a script/folder, whilst the page 2 brigade are all for it, so the jury (if you like) is still undecided on this one.

Andy10v have said (thanks!), a folder doesn't have to contain everything, and I was already thinking of maybe just something (script?, folder?, notice board?, idk) with an introduction page (details of make/model, time of purchase, history timeline), followed by a bullet point list of works carried out in the past 2yrs and then however many pages of before/after photos showing the parts that I've replaced in the past 6mths by way of preparation for the AITP event....nothing too long winded, people loose interest very quickly if something appears to be too much effort to read.
As I said, I'm still undecided, so let me throw in an alternative question:
how do you showcase a 23yr old Audi 80 that has been owned/used as a 'daily' for the past 17yrs?
