The bore size is smaller on these than on later engines (69.5mm vs 75mm) so they only fit a couple of engine codes, and were discontinued in the early 80s
HA - 895cc - mk1 polo
HB - 1093cc mk1 polo 'normal' and 'Formel E' variant. Also fitted to mk2s from 81-83
HC - 1093cc Audi 50 GL
GG - 1093cc mk1 Golf/Jetta - There is also a Formel E variant of this engine, again, gasket fits both
