After visiting several acclaimed 'automotive' locksmiths and getting no where, I phoned several companies. The last one I looked at was DG Auto Keys and after he asked the usual questions, he said he would call later if I text my details.
To my surprise I had a knock on the door about an hour later and two youngish blokes turned up, took my door handle and within seconds had picked the lock. They then proceeded to work out the code using some device, looked the information up on the laptop, put a card into a machine and that was it, a new key was cut. I just need a couple of blanks now and I'll get a couple more done in preparation for next time.

PS Audi could not help me, they do not retain data on my car as it is over 15 years!
PPS When I was having a meltdown with the Parts Manager the other day after this not surprising news, they couldn't even tell me what oil went into my RR........, but then again it is over 15 years old. FFS!
