I'm in total agreement the standard seats are crap and I was lucky to find a set of manual Recaros to go in mine and my Quattro cabby has a set of Porsche seats to go in it when it's on the road and my brother is about to fit golf mk3 Recaros in his cab.
The intent of my reply was to point you in the right direction to get some info not to knock your plans....
