Thanks I will do just that.
I will have a play around with the cheap Vag com lead as I will need to turn off the airbag light for the ticket as I think the mot has changed recently so I won't be able to just take the airbag bulb out.
But I may be lucky and find the airbag error light may be a problem with the old cluster.
