my theory was that the "aerofoil" causes too much pressure on the blade and it's this pressure that causes the judder. the passenger side blade has the same life at rest as the aero blade but doesn't judder at all. i have removed this device on the 90 quattro and should get a chance to test it out soon as rain is looming overhead.
