I've got two, 1982 VW Golf GLD, 5 door. Cracking workhorse, well over 200k miles. It had been imported to the UK in RHD and had a much higher spec than diesel Golfs available over here at the time.
The other is my Audi 100 Sport, with all red rear lights and Ronal alloys, just a lovely car.
Both we felt had to be sold as we could not afford to keep them running, young, busy jobs and no time. Sometimes you don't know what you have got until it is gone.
