Ah thanks for all the updates folks. I have been completely flat out at work and done no hunting at all. The spare time I have had has been working on the UrS6 which just about has another years ticket, pending a Lambda sensor replacement. It seems I wrecked this when one of the channels on the POS went a while back. I did know about this at the time, unplugged the lambda and forgot about it until I get a picky MOT tester. Good news is the car is otherwise Aok.

I have also managed to buy a 90, my old one back. It was lying doing nothing with my mate due to a MOT failure (Bottom ball joint, tyre, missing load sensor spring) and knew it had a spare lambda on it with the stainless that I had put on it. So bought it back but not sure what I am going to do with it. Anyone fancy a 90 2.0 FWD?? 101k. Only issue I can see (other than the obvious and easy stuff for an MOT) is fuel getting into the oil. This got progressively worse after I sold it to the point now there is no oil pressure when warm. My mate got it compression tested and each cylinder was up around 12 bar. It is probably the injectors and have a spare set, metering head etc for it.

The joys of old Audi's.
