Default Car no worky

Worked fine when I parked it up over winter (it's been a long, cold winter round mine). Went to start it the other day and it didn't work.

Here's what I've got:

1989 2.3 NG, so K-Jet injection, or some derivative thereof.
A patchy amount of K-Jet knowledge from previous 924 and XR3i ownership
Fuel pump primes.
Fuel comes out of the feed to the fuel disi if I take it off.
Therefore I surmise
a) It's not out of petrol
b) The fuel's getting this far at least
Plugs are new and sparking well, but dry

Car cranks (now it's met Mister Boost Pack)
Car momentarily fires when cold but stalls immediately
Taking the injector lines off the fuel disi the lines are all dry, except the cold start, which chucks out anice big glug when primed.

Lifted the airflow meter boot and the flap in there's moving freely.
Lifted the fuel disi and the plunger isn't seized, but there's some resistance there to it's movement.

Annoyingly, my mutimeter's at the workshop, so I can only test for power to the fuel disi with a bulb, and don't particularly want to chance this if it's gonna cause a problem elsewhere.

Any other tests you can suggest good people?
