A quick report on a eventful weekend at the pageant of Power at Cholmondley Castle.
Saturday was a mud bath getting in so much so that we were all unable to get to the club stand. Instead we had to park in the main car park... Doh! Then I happened to be in the right place when a guy in his new Porsche Carrera GT used too much power and too little talent and went off on mud, clipped a straw bail and spun hitting the rear on another straw bail, Ouch! That will be some repar bill

Andy Krinks was there both days in his S1 and looking and sounding as impressive as ever.
He was running some seriously wide wet tyres, the arches barely wide enough to contain them
Sunday was a lot better and got onto the Club stand early before it got too muddy. And again in a perfect spot to see an ex F1 car Yellow Camel livery clip the chicane , spin and reverse into the straw bails with an expensive sounding crack...
With a dry track Andy was putting in some good times in his S1 too.
Also went for a tank ride which was fun and would have gone on a rib ride round the lake if my Pete hadn't been feeling green after a night out drinking..
Those that missed it this year should defo make the effort to attend in 2013, you'l not regret it.
