Looking very carefully at the wiring diagram pointed out by Darren, on top of the stereo in the photo. The right hand larger spade connector (nearest the edge) is the earth or battery negative connection. The left hand larger spade connector (one in from edge) is the battery positive connection.

Get some female spade connectors, preferably fully insulated, on the end of some bits of wire, push on the 2 connectors and dab the other ends on a battery. Don't need to tell you which way round do I?

Might be easier for me to make it out in the photo, as I know what I'm looking for .

And Mickys most likely right, the little spades should be aerial output and maybe illumination dimming input.
