recreations are a funny issue I think, some people love em and some plain hate em. I do not personally like the Dialynx recreations they just ' look' wrong with that long bonnet ( admittedly the same as a sport) and the sloped back windscreen angle and that liitle daft side window, makes them look all front and no arse. However Andy Krinks HB recreation looks good as the colour scheme detracts from the fact it is a Dialynx. Just my opinion but I can see why people buy them as most of us will never have 50k to buy the pukka one unless we get lucky one Saturday night. So I can see reason for. I know a guy from Sheffield with a Black Dialynx that was for sale for a long time quite recently and in black it looks mint, but it is still a dialynx.
At the end of the day the old cliche of ' what suits the wearer suits the starer' because we are all individuals and have different tastes. I know when I go off in the Cq I get looks and stares ranging from cars flashing and waving, people walking the street waving to people looking in disgust with, what the hell does he think he looks like, written all over their faces.
