If you know the variant codes then you could work it out.

From what I understand, the DVLA can generate a list of all Audi 100 (for example) that are listed.
From this list you then have the ones which are liable for tax (i.e. un taxed for current use on the road) or taxed.
You then have a model identity marker which maybe either a letter or numeric code. Not sure which. These will determine if the car is a coupe/saloon/estate etc etc.

If you work in the DVLA and have access to the data base, and you knew what all the codes were then you could then generate a list of what cars and what type of car as still currently taxed and registered for use on the UK roads.

The downside of this is that this information is not publicly available.

You can get it if you are after it for something along the lines of an official club database but you need to out it in writing to a man at the DVLA and then await for him to get the information.
They did used to do it far more freely but word got out and he ended up getting way too many requests so stopped doing it.
