Hmmm more than a few ways.
Got the name? Got any interests they may have so forums they frequent?
Go to google and type: intext: "<insert search query>" ( could be a name etc).
Google images...facebook, ebay, photo hosting sites etc, have they got a website? Use Whois info to find registrant info.
If youve got an email addy get someone else to send them an email, social engineering to get info- even a car reg can get you info that could lead you to your "quarry".
Hope you get this slimeball, he obviously needs a hefty boot in the soft and danglies.
Oh btw, see if he's offered your item/s up on ebay...always easy to win the auction then youll have an addy....
