Well, some of you may know that I very much prize my 200 5T having spend the usual resources on getting back into a presentable state. Then I was offered a good amount to part with it...no way! But then I thought money doesn't grow on trees etc etc and so I agreed to sell it to a very amiable gentleman from the West Midlands. After looking at the car he excitedly promised to pick it up the next w/e in order to get it bare metal resprayed...and if I would trust him can he take my £70 model and £30 keyring to show his young son. Of course like an idiot I agreed without taking so much as a deposit. After promising to pick the car up 5 times and each time coming out with the most extraordinary excuses I have had to accept this guy is a con artist. Very strange indeed as he knew about the car but I guess he was just after my souvenirs. Cost me a lot of money and time for one reason and another

.
So the moral is - trust no one with anything useless they've paid you for it. Also watch out for a chap by the name of Neil Hodgson.
