http://www.isham-research.co.uk/quat...yp85/22_01.png track 12 - the bit that normally connects to the alternator is usually black (sw) from D+ to T1c - from there on it's blue (bl).
It's not that intuitive, but the drawing of T1c does show the black wire being male and the blue female. T1c is usually tied to the chassis rail just behind the right headlight.
