Just having a garage clearout, or should I say, taking stuff out that ive not seen for 5 years....then putting it back because.....you never know!!!.......I never learn!!
Ive found the Tornado front bib spoiler from the 80 2 door that I collected from the fatherland last year. Its fine apart from on the drivers side corner where it curves to fasten to the wing, its split and it wants a paint. Its still in one piece and has had some tank tape over it holding it together. I took it to a local bumper repair specialist who shook his head and said "NAAARR MATE ITS SCRAP". He then offered to bin it for me to save me putting it back in the car... Nice one I thought ,although a little suspicious!! Then he explains he has a front bumper inner section for a UR that hes trying to sell for 220 quid. "Rare as Hens Shit" he says...or was it Rocking Horse Teeth?
Anyway, funnily enough, I think it will repair, so, if anyone would like it as a gift and start me off on the road to help reclaim my garage floor space, then its yours!!!.
I will be at ADI so I will take it along with me.
