If you feel upto it you can fool it by removing one of the brake lamps, put side lamps on and using a spare wire put 12V from the centre connector of brake lamp and centre connector of side lamp holder this should be the same as pressing the brake pedal and should at least get it out of park, will need two people mind one to hold wire and one to pull it out of park.
But would certainly suspect switch.
