HELP

90 overheated today on the way to work, -5 here this morning, was never above 40mph, was sat at a junction for 5 minutes waiting to get out and the temperature red icon comes up. Shit need to get moving get some air flow. So i went for a tight gap, bearing in mind its snowing heavy here already well over a foot. made it to 5 miles to office, as i pulled in a wall of steam belthches out. Engine off... it beltched a few times then the after run fan kicked in. Was the fan working before, not 100% sure.

The S4 is getting an electrical fault fixed 50 miles away there is 18in of snow at home and the other car is a BMW. I really need good suggestions quickly! What do i check? Could there be a frozen blockage?
