For Sale due to move overseas.

I bought this car about 6 months ago with the intention of doing some minor jobs and enjoying the car over the summer. My friend sold it to me as his wife hated it (too old !?!?....wtf?) and refused to drive it. it's a cracking car and would make a great rolling resto. I've got a ton of spares which are shown in the pictures below.

122k on the clock. MOT valid until Jan 29th 2009, currently sorned. the bodywork is solid with the odd scruffy bit on some panels but if you can get on top of it she should be ok for quite a while. It would be an absolute cracker if you got her resprayed.
Previous work includes a suspension rebuild back in about 2000 (about 100k on the clock) so she's solid enough underneath. I've got a ton of new bushes to fit to freshen the handling up, just been busy with other projects and not had time to do it.
Since my mate bought it (about 18 months ago) she's had a new fuel pump, front discs, pads, rear calliper, exhaust. door handles just rebuilt with rebuild lock barrels , recon radiator about a year ago. loose spares include rear arch panels, balljoints, suspension bushes, door handles, rear reflector panel, spare alloys, spare bumpers, head and tail lights, electric mirrors, fog lights, sunroof parts, bits of trim - door cards, metal trim from bumbers, front grille, brake pads, rocker cover gasket, fan, alternator and some other bits. see below:-

The Interior is ok too, the side bolsters on the drivers seat are a bit flat so maybe a repair would be in order.

She's got a cracking history file with the name and address of all the previous owners, old mots, a stack of receipts, half a dozen car mags with articles on the Audi 90 Quattro, handbooks and workshop manual.

That old 5 pot sounds so sweet. not quite loud enough for my liking but any louder and it would compromise things on long journeys.

I'm going to replace the old (and knackered) rear reflector unit as its broken in many places. I have a good, near perfect, 2nd hand one to go on. I'll also change the oil and give her a service.

I also have another set of original 14" ronal alloys, the same as are fitted in the pictures, that have been refurbished to go with the car. I'll get these fitted before she goes actually as she'll look much better with them on.

I'm leaving the UK in a few months and would like to see this car go to a good home, its dissapointing to have to relinquish this project as I was looking forward to getting started on it but there's no way I can take the car with me and I have other vehicles to arrange storage for.

My original plans were to fit another set of wheels and just freshen it up a bit. Its already pretty low and would look the nuts on black banded steels and would sound nice with the middle silencer removed from the exhaust to make the exhaust note a bit more fruity.

Looking for £650 ono

Pm or call 07824 416480 for more details.

The car is in Aberdeen, localish delivery can be arranged, collecting you from the railway station or airport is not a problem. I would happily collect this car from the other end of the country and drive her home so have no fear if you live in Englandshire.
