As the title reads really, I sometimes find it hard to select gears, ie. the gear stick becomes difficult to move into gear, almost like a notch stops it.
I have noticed it more recently, since I have been travelling in traffic more. It seems to be when the car has either been run fast, or has been stood in traffic and got warmer. Its most prominant when coming to a stop and selecting first, or trying to select second when you dont have to stop!
The only other thing to note is when the car first starts and runs from cold, when you select 2nd, you get what I think best to term, a 'coggy' feel as you change up. I guess the two are linked, any idea's what could be causing it?
Any help is appreciated, its not so much a problem, but an annoyance, and it makes me look a tit when I take a little extra time at a junction!
