I can get to work with my FWD B3, and because it have FWD and because on road isn't so big traffic density
I just asked - I am from Latvia, on our roads use salt, so 25 years old audi, if not carefully maintained by owner, in most cases is bucket of rust like opel, or maybe even worse
Most of B2's [only some] i had ever seen personally, was with serious rust, or with re-welded doorsteps and floor
And there isn't any, which don't have rust at all - ok, maybe is - but u can buy one for, let's say, 2k pounds.
Also, i'm wondering about mileage of cars, seen in this forum - looks like brittish don't drive with their cars
