As I said, if ya keep the car Steve I'll gladly pop over but trouble is I just can't get for about 2 weeks - just too snowed under.
I think we're all fond of and protective of Steve on here, and just been on phone to him several times as he's struggling with the 100 now (poor chap) but lets all get on and continue helping each other.
Hi Phil, yeah the pump was shagged, tested both flow and pressure output and it was terrible, just enough to run OK but well below what was required for a nice injector spray pattern and smooth running. Managed to get the fuelling within in spec but it took some doing and really wasn't very strong as the load increased. I just wish I could have found him a cheaper pump so I could have fitted it for him and perhaps we'd not be here now but it wasn't to be. -
Steve needs to get the 100 going happily then decide carefully what he wants to do as I said, it's only worth taking the time and effort to get the 200 correct if he keeps it or sells it running (which I think is a good idea) but if it's being stripped then if it turns out that pump, reg' or filter are on a bit wrong it really doesn't matter as it'd be in bits...
Anyhow, I'm here if I can help Steve but just let me know what ya wanna do bud.
