If anyone is thinking of getting the BMW centre bearing from GSF Car Parts at about £16 then my advice is not to bother as it is of poor quality and wouldn't hold your trousers up let alone your quattro propshaft.
Took a punt on one of these and it's still in the box.
Peter Reeve does the OEM centre bearing at about £130 ish ( memory?) which is the route i will take if i have to renew.
I'm replacing the gearbox mounts and rear diff mounts on my CQ this week - hopefully this will get rid of the slight movement/shunt i'm getting around the gearbox
