Thanks for the advice.
I'll have a look at the gearbox mount, I hadn't thought about that, I think I might have a spare one.
How much lateral play should there be in the prop shaft?
Does anyone have the BMW part number for the propshaft mount?
Can you split the prop shaft at the UJ or do you have to remove the whole shaft to remove the mount?
