This is a subject that gets me going too. the universe is not only massive..but it's expanding all the time, which makes you think that at some time it must stop expanding.....in-fact experts say that it will not only stop growing...but will shrink and collapse under it's own gravity

...by then though...serious climatic shifts...earths expiry date...and then the sun's expiry date would mean than in the reality of things, we as humans need to find another planet to call home so we can then carry on (we don't want classic Audi to have an expiry date

).
But this is the problem, we could never find life or life find us as everything is too damn far away......
The average human lives for around 75yrs.....the nearest solar system is about 4.3 light years away (although our solar system is meant to collide with it in a few billion years

)....so...there being no life on in that solar system...we gotta look further...then further...then further.....
The only way we could do it, is colonise some kind of space ship (i feel trekky fans faces lighting up here

) so then we could search far and wide.....
But then life we might find could be similar to ours but in a complete different climate to ours that just wouldn't sustain us.....
There's sooooo many possibilities......just makes you wonder....why all this for the universe to just collapse into itself......maybe we are unwillingly test subjects.....tested harder and harder until we get it right maybe....I don't know....maybe after all this, our creator will give us the definition of normal!
