I fitted this Superchips ecu today, not a difficult job at all but a little bit cramped for someone of my build working down in the footwell
Before putting the trim panels back in I mada sure that the car started and took it for a 'test drive'.
My normal test route takes me onto an industrial estate where its very quiet but today I stuck mostly to the 'black country route'.
In assessing the performance difference I was very careful to not just
think the car felt better/worse.
Initial impressions over about 6 miles are of a fre-er revving engine, more responsive throttle, adn increased torque through the rev range but particularly from about 3,600rpm onwards.
So thanks Tom C, that was £20 well spent.
