Hi got the top engine temp sensor just wondering...

Hi got the top engine temp sensor just wondering is it a case of remove the old and replace with the new one or does the system need to be bleed?

Also just to mention the top engine temp sensor had a poor connection as it snapped off so I have one ordered from Quattro corner. I presume this would effect the running or explain the erratic...

Is it just a case of disconnecting the ecu and cleaning all the connections on the ecu side and the SCART type connector ? And clean with a cloth or something?

Was up at the car today and I realised that the turbo gauge goes 0-1-2 and when I have my engine running no acceleration the turbo gauge is sitting in the middle at one and if I rev it it goes beyond...
