Yes, it's the yellow thing screwed into the side of the blower housing in front of the windscreen.
Fan position 1 is feeble on my car too.
Ventilation on these cars is poor.

But that may be irrelevant as you've got an extra throttle body connection!

I bought a 'Topran' one from GSF. It lasted 12 months. No hassle getting a replacement, but it lasted 3 months.
